Initial consultation
A full clinical history. Your herbal prescription is made up for you at the end of the appointment.
Follow-ups
Your treatment is reviewed and adapted at each visit as your health improves. How often depends on you.

4 Albyn Place, West End, EH2 4NG. One week each month. Close to the West End tram stop.
Skye garden clinic
Portree, Isle of Skye, IV51 9HT. Face-to-face appointments the rest of the month.
Online
Any device with a camera. All diagnostic and herbal treatments are available, herbs are posted from Edinburgh and blood tests are arranged locally.
New patients: an in-person first visit in Edinburgh is ideal if practical, but not essential.

What it costs
I’m an independent practitioner, so fees cover the time spent with you as well as reviewing your results, researching your case and keeping my training up to date.
Supplements are recommended where needed from high-quality UK suppliers, but are not sold by the clinic.

Questions about consultations and fees
How much does a herbalist cost in Edinburgh?
An initial 75-minute consultation with me is £325 and a 50-minute follow-up is £195. If you have tests, a lab test report consultation to explain your results is £168. Herbal medicine is usually about £64 a month. The 15-minute discovery call is free.
Is the first call really free?
Yes. The 15-minute discovery call, by phone or video, is free and there’s no obligation. It’s a chance to talk about your health and decide whether my approach is right for you.
Do you offer online consultations?
Yes. I can do every consultation by video, so you can see me from home and get the same care and treatments. I post your herbs to you from Edinburgh, and can arrange blood tests near you.
Can I take herbs with my prescribed medication?
Often yes, but some herbs and medicines don’t mix. I’m trained to prescribe safely alongside conventional medicines, and I’ll check everything you take. Please don’t stop any prescribed medicine without speaking to your doctor.
How many appointments will I need?
It depends on you and your health. Some people need a few follow-ups over a few weeks, others several months. I review this at each appointment, and my aim is always that you no longer need my care.
Do I have to have tests?
No. I only suggest tests where they’ll help, and I explain the options and costs first so you can decide.
