Out of hoursThe building is open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm. Outside those hours, text or call me on 07973 368189 when you arrive and I’ll let you in.

Questions about visiting

Where is the Edinburgh clinic?

At 4 Albyn Place, Edinburgh EH2 4NG, in the city’s West End, a short walk from the West End tram stop. I’m in Edinburgh one week each month.

Where is the Skye clinic?

My garden clinic is in Portree, Isle of Skye (IV51 9HT), where I see patients for the rest of the month.

Is there parking at the Edinburgh clinic?

There’s no patient car park, but parking is available on Wemyss Place. Nearby streets have pay-and-display parking from Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 6.30pm, and on Sunday, 12.30pm to 6.30pm. It costs up to £9 an hour on Queen Street and Charlotte Square. The nearest multi-storey is National Car Parks (NCP) Castle Terrace. The clinic is at the edge of Edinburgh’s Low Emission Zone, so check your vehicle meets the rules if you drive through the city centre.

What if my appointment is outside office hours?

The building is open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm. For an appointment before 9am, after 5pm or at the weekend, text or call me on 07973 368189 when you arrive and I’ll let you in.

Is the clinic accessible?

There isn’t a fully step-free entrance. The easiest way in is at the rear of the building, on Wemyss Place Mews, where there are just two steps. If you’d like to use this entrance, please let me know before your visit.

Do you see children?

Yes. I see patients of every age, from newborns to people in their nineties. For babies and young children, always see a qualified herbalist rather than buying remedies over the counter.
